On the visit of Ambassador A.Guryanov to Malta

On the 16^th-17^th of January, 2020, Ambassador of Belarus Aleksandr Guryanov paid a visit to Malta. The head of Belarus diplomatic mission took part in the events organized for the diplomatic corps by the President, the Prime Minister and the chief of the foreign office of Malta on the occasion of New Year’s greetings exchange.

During the visit the Ambassador held brief conversations with the Head of the Maltese State George Vella, the Head of the Maltese Government Robert Abela and the newly appointed Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Malta Evarist Bartolo, passing to them greeting letters from the top authorities of Belarus. He also met Chief of staff of the Office of President Olaph Terribile, President’s advisor Joseph Zahra and Permanent Secretary of the MFA Fiona Formosa.

Aleksandr Guryanov as well has attended corresponding events for ambassadors accredited to Malta organized by the ruling Labour Party and by the oppositional Nationalist one.
