Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus S. Aleinik's visit to Italy
11.01.2022 г.On January 11, 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Aleinik, during his visit to Rome, met the State Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Benedetto Della Vedova.
Key topics of Belarus-Italy political agenda, economic cooperation, common humanitarian projects, as well as the relations with the EU were discussed.
In the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu. The parties indicated a noticeable strengthening of bilateral cooperation over the past years. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of preparation of a country cooperation program between Belarus and FAO until 2025, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and ensuring global food security.
